As advertised nice stand for the money
Great stand for the price. I also purchased a 100% pure black badger brush and it fit nice and tight.
A nice clean shave.
Compact, stable and stylish. Very nice if you prefer wood to metal (like I do).
Had this stand for a year or two now so time for a review. Pros: - Finish is perfect. No chips, cracks, dents or scratches. (I only hang damp brushes and wiped dry razors. Never saw actual water contact so durability of finish may vary) - Base sits level on surface with no wobble. May seem weird to mention that but there are many wooden artifacts in the markplace that do not meet this simple criteria. - Has the option to hang the razor vertically along the back or to lay it horizontally across the top. Cons: - Not suitable for longer brushes or brushes with a large lofty knot. - The cradle design further limits what brushes will fit. Narrow opening that opens wider in the center. This fits the FEN-68-CLSD razor handle perfectly across the top. Look at the dimensions posted in the description to be sure your handles will fit. I recommend only hanging razors that are able to grip the top slot. Flat baseplate razors can fall out if you move this stand when loaded up. The top horizontal slot works best to hold the razor. I have a Fendrihan classic Silvertip brush model FEN-BLK2SLV that I hang in this stand. It must be hung from between the hair and handle due to length and I hold the knot between my index and mid fingers to fit it into the cradle. The knot opens completely to dry once the brush is hanging but will catch if not inserted into the cradle this way. This is about the max size of brush (70mm across -55mm hair length) this stand will take without the bristles touching the wood base. I have longer bristle boars that will fit today but I doubt they will once they are fully broken in. Not flashy. Just beautiful, simple and useful. Looks as good today as it did the day I unwrapped it and put it to use.
