  • The Parker 82R Double-Edge Razor is a classic safety razor with butterfly-type opening, of excellent quality and unmatched value. This razor, with its heft and balance, represents the highest design achievement for the Parker line. A razor of medium aggressiveness, it will suit novices and expert shavers alike.

Many of our first-time customers decide to purchase a razor blade sampler with their first DE razor as a practical way to determine which blade brand is best suited to their skin type, style of shaving and razor type, before making a purchase of a large quantity of blades.

Classic TTO

This is a good razor. It is more on the mild side but if you pay attention to the shaving angle you can get a very smooth shave. It doesn’t have the finish of an Edward Jagger or Muhle but then it is a lot less money too. I like it.

Parker 82R

So far so good. I find it a less aggressive shave than my Muhle R89. I like the handle grip when wet, and the ease of blade changing is nice in comparison to the Muhle. We will see how reliable the mechanism is over the long haul, but for the money I really like this, and it would be great for beginner DE shaving.

wish i had bought a more aggressive razor

Great razor.

I just got this 82R and after the first two shaves, I think this is the best shave I've had. Between the weight and the handle length, it just seems to be right for me. Not aggressive really but certainly efficient and comfortable.
