Gorgeously polished and scrupulously crafted, Fendrihan's exclusive premium edition hair brushes are worth the wait. Witness polished ebony playing host to hand-drawn pure wild boar bristles. Experience the extra graduation in the sculpting of the brush for better grip.
In the German Black Forest where this brush is made, only a handful of experts are capable of the technique known as, "Stirneinzug." Bristle holes are bored by hand into the ebony brush body. Through these holes, wild boar bristles are hand-drawn in bunches. For this task Keller employs a single expert, with more than 40 years of experience in his field. This brush, and all those crafted by him, are rarities, exclusive and unique. This is truly the gold standard for hair brushes, and it stands on the shoulders of an ancient tradition.
Packaged in a gift box and tied with a golden ribbon, this brush makes an excellent gift to yourself, or for the man of distinction in your life.

An expensive hair brish, I pulled the trigger on this one with some trepidation. I style daily with both a brush and a steel comb (steel comb from Fendrihan as well, and an incredible grooming tool), using a hairdryer most mornings. The brush I use needs to be strong to stand up to my very thick hair, needs to be soft enough to brush and massage without removing skin. Honestly, this brush--and I own a number of expensive hair brushes--is very close to perfect. My only complaint is that the handle is too short, and I've dropped the brush twice in consequence. A slightly longer handle and it'd be a 5 star review. That said, if you are a man who has a head of thick hair, who takes pride in his appearance and who grooms regularly, then this brush is well worth the money. It will tame unruly locks, but does so in comfort. I have come to rely on it completely, so much so when I use other brushes when travelling, I really notice the difference. And being a high-end wood worker, the use of fine dowel pins set into the length of the wood body indicates that this is a very well-made item, and will last for decades if cared for (left to air dry, not mouldering in a sealed gym bag every day). If you want the last hair brush you'll ever buy, and if you are serious about comfort and control in your daily grooming regimen, step up and buy this one.
I had this brush for a week now and I love the sheen and smoothness it imparts to my hair. I have Asian hair and the stiff boar bristles are perfect for smoothing out the hair and massaging my scalp. The ebony wood has a nice heft to it, aiding a smooth drag through my hair. Love the beautifully polished ebony wood too. Ergonomically shaped. Great brush worth every cent.
