Lathers up nicely for easy application and helps create the smoothest shave I get!
Moisturize and gives a great shave, I planned to buy the different scents in this brand, I can honestly say that it is as good as the Taylor of old Bonds! Thanks,
First time I've rated anything from Fendrihan at five stars. I started double-edge safety razor shaving a little more than a year ago with a handful of products from Fendrihan. My first shaving soap was the soft stuff from Proraso; I tried a few of their soaps and creams and was reasonably happy with their performance, especially given their prices. I was pretty skeptical about finding a better value, and, indeed, I was disappointed with some of the other stuff I tried from other suppliers. The reviews on the Cyril R Salter shaving creams kept me coming back, though, especially the lime, and when Fendrihan got it back in stock, I had to give it a try. Yep. Five stars. Proraso makes some lovely products, but this stuff surpasses them. It's light, it's creamy, its texture is reminiscent of desert mousse or the meringue on a lemon meringue pie, and holy s*** does it ever lather. Seriously. Tiny amount goes a long way. All you have to do is dip the bristles in, maybe a millimetre or two, and then whip it up in a bowl or a shaving mug. It's thick, substantial lather, and I get three passes (WTG, XTG, ATG) with one application. Could do four. Once the lather's on your face, it stays there and stays moist; it doesn't evaporate and it doesn't feel like it's drying your skin out. The scent is of real limes, not cloying, sweet, artificial lime candy, and while it's pleasant, it doesn't follow you around all day. The shave is marvellous. Razor glides across my face like a cloud; haven't nicked myself once with my Feathers. (Not quite as smooth with Astras, but maybe it's my fault for starting out with Feathers and using nothing else up until a few days ago.) So, summing up: Proraso's been my benchmark until now. You'd have to do significantly better to get me to switch. Cyril R Salter does. (And a tip of the chapeau to Fendrihan for shipping and customer service. I've got nothing bad to say about it at all. I'd totally recommend them to anybody.)
Very creamy, don't need a lot of product to create a good lather
Excellent, from both you and the Cdn Post I must have had 6 emails in total.
