Razor blades are a very personal taste. The Personna Platinum blades are the best ones for my shaving profile.
For me it's the best blades.
Bought these blades before. These are perfect blades for me and that is why I bought 200 of them this time around.
Long time user of persona reds, took a chance and ordered these. They are great, just as good as the reds. Medium heavy red beard, use #3 setting on Gillette vintage adjustable razor.
I think Personna Platinums are one of the best deals in blades. They are very sharp and comfortable. The first day, I have to be careful as they are a bit too sharp for me or perhaps something on the blade edge smooths out after that first use. After that they are great. I can get about 5-6 days out of a blade if I rinse them thoroughly and use a cream that doesn't stick to the blade so much. I used to find that some brands of blades were irritating my skin but I now realize that my "feel" and technique were probably a lot of the blame as I was new to DE razors. I now believe that you need to use a blade brand for a while to learn how to work with that brand properly. As I kept skipping from brand to brand, I never really settled on how to use a particular blade to its best and often irritated my skin in the course. That's why, for me, I think it is good to settle in with something that works for me and buy a large supply of these.
