Dorco blades in my experience are a fantastic blade. I personally think there is far too much emphasis put on blades, in reality the differences in sharpness are down to microns and really not that different brand to brand. I have found the only downside to Dorco blades is that they usually only get 2 uses before becoming too dull to use effectively. But at half the price of feather, you can replace them twice as often!
I have a MERKUR 38C and have tried about a half dozen different blades, and this combo is the best I've found. My beard is quite thin so I shave ever other day, but I do 3 passes (with/against/across) and this blade has given me the most consistently great results. I change blades once every two weeks (6 shaves), but don't notice them dulling at all -- since they're so affordable I treat myself. It's just the right blade for me.
I purchased the nine blade sample pack, so I've tried a few different blades and these work the best on my face in my Fendrihan house brand butterfly razor. The shave is smooth, close and nick free. They are also one of the less expensive blades.
Amazingly good shave with little irritation. I got a pack in with a sampler, and now that I see the price point I would definitely recommend over the Derby Extra. Almost as good a shave for me as compared to the Black Feather.
The Dorco ST-301's are one of my favorites. I do not experience any tugging and it is very forgiving for a new wet shaver. For me and my beard type I get two superb shaves from this but have learned that three shaves per blade is out of the question. My setup is 34C HD, and Proraso White preshave and soap.
