The stone is fine and hard, it gives a nice finish on my razor. It makes very little slurry and the metal particles stick more to the stone, so it's a bit more effort to clean compared to the Chosera, but that is no big deal. I would buy again.
Great stone to finish your straight razor. The stone is also the perfect width to fit the entire edge of your straight razor, so you won't have to worry about x-strokes or other techniques if you don't really have any experience in honing.
I love the line of Naniwa stones, they put a silky smooth edge on my razors
