You could do better...

I bought this travel brush a few years ago. I've used it on numerous trips but am still not very happy with the item, for two reasons. 1) If you use a good quality badger brush (e.g. silvertip) at home you will find that this brush is quite coarse and of a much lower grade. I would have gladly paid a bit more money to get a better quality badger in a travel format, but at the time there were very few travel brushes available. 2) The construction is a bit odd. You might get the idea from the picture that there are two tubes, but in fact there is only one, with threaded hole at one end and a screw-in lid with vent holes on the other. To use the brush, you unscrew the lid, pop out the brush part and screw it into the opposite end, then replace the lid which acts as the base. To deconstruct, you do the same in reverse. The problem is that the brush part can't be affixed in the tube and rattles around, denting the brush hairs in the process if they are wet. Fortunately I don't travel nearly as much anymore as I used to, because for occasional use this one is ok, but if you travel a lot and are willing to invest in a good quality travel brush, you may want to look at some of the alternatives.

Nice and compact

As a travel brush, there are trade-offs made for portability's sake. It's great for packing up small if space is at a premium, but its size makes it very floppy, and not all that pleasant to lather with compared to a "regular" brush.

A great travel brush

As a frequent traveller- I need a brush that was portable and compact. The Edwin Jagger Badger Travel brush is working well for me. I highly recommend following the instructions for pre-shave and post shave care- One draw back is that I don't have a portable stand (maybe I should get one) so I try and ensure that the brush is dry before I stow it away. Using a soft dry towel helps. I hope to have this brush for some time.

This is the bomb

Best ever travel brush I've ever seen. In fact I'm traveling with it right now.

Losing its hair

I very liked it, but after a year on the road it starts losing its hair.
